Data transfer

    Client's name
    Keyword
    Publication date
    Colour information e.g.: clientsname_keyword_31-12_4c
  • Info file: When the print documentis sentinclude a separate info file that provides information about the colour, the sender of the file and a telephone number for technical clarification.
  • Send or save files that belong together in a shared director (folder).
  • Check data quantity: If it exceeds 40 MB, it would make sense to check the resolution because of the long transmission time.
  • Files can be compressed with Stuffit or WinZip before transfer

Files

  • PDF files: PDF/X-1a:2003 or PDF/X-3:2003 or print-optimised from Acrobat 4

  • Please do not use any non-device-specific image or graphics data, such as
RGB or LAB. Please create the images separately according to the newsprint.
  • EPS files: .eps saved files with included fonts and image data.
  • If typefaces cannot be incorporated, convert text into paths/curves.
  • The page format must be larger than the booked advertising space (approx.
    10 mm white space).
  • Office files (e.g. Word, Excel, Power-Point) are not suitable for the printing process.
